The College of Cardinels has assembled and will be determining a date for the conclave. If all goes well, we will have a Pope by Holy Week.
I must admit that this conclave feels "weird" to me. I am used to this interregnum being a time of mourning for our Holy Father. This time it is a loss for us, but a new beginning as well.
Best thing I can come up with is a quote from The Fellowship of the Ring and Bilbo (on the tail end of his journey.)
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
